Yes, they might. In fact they have launched several missiles into the Sea of Japan, just to provoke Japan. It is run by a moronic dictator who loves porn movies and fast cars. They might be desperate enough to do that because their citizens are starving and eating grass right now. Desperate people do desperate things.

If the North Koreans wanted to provoke the Asia-Pacific region by launching their missile, then they're in for a _rude_ awakening. You know the U.S. has sent Patriot missile batteries into Japan just in case they want to push their luck too far with it. Now you know Japan and South Korea will not tolerate this foolishness from Pyongyang! We need to rid this world of the horrible nuclear weapons that rattled Hiroshima and Nagasaki just days before WWII came to end.

I don't think they'll be that stupid. They've been making that threat for years. I was stationed in Korea for that reason in the late 90's and we're still here.
They know that if they do, the world is over.
It's a political power struggle when they threaten like that.

Nah they wont ...bcuz that implies too much risk...Nkorea is a closed economy..and is not a prosperous one..so more sanctions may aggravate the countrys situation
