On pokemon sapphire how do I get in to battle tower and sky pillar?

I have all my gym badges, but have not yet beaten the elite four.

ok go beat the elite 4, then after that's done you'll wind up back at your house where your father and mother are talking there your
dad will give u a s.s. ticket for the boat. from there fly 2 lillycove
you'll wind up in front of the pokemon center. go down a little then
right then down then left past the pokemon contest hall then down
again there u should see the lilly cove port. go inside the lady will ask 2 see your ticket show it to her next she'll ask where you'd like to go say battle tower then climb aboard to the battle tower.
the sky pillar is located to the right of pacifidlog town. walk to the
right till your on the logs then surf when u go past the girl and boy
go down some and past the swimmer. then you'll see a boy and girl swim above the boy there u'll see a small rock shaped like a
L go up, left, up,right,up and right there u should see the opening to the sky pillar where rayquaza's asleep be sure u have your mach bike with u. good luck & glad 2 help :)

First you have to defeat the Elite Four in their hideout at Evergrande.Then you'll notice that once you beat the Elite Four
the game saves itself and resets.Click on Continue and you'll be in your room.Go down and your father will give you a ticket for the ship that was just made which can take you to LilyCove from Slateport Harbor,Slateport from LillyCove Harbor,or Battle Tower from both harbors.

Once you beat the Elite Four Sky Pillar becomes avalible,you need a pokemon with surf and the Mach bike (for crossing the cracks in the tower and be loaded with Ultra Balls (littery),

go to pacfilig town and surf right keep surfing and look for a rock sort of labyritnh(maze)go through the maze to find a cave,go up the cave to the outside of the island and go in the tower (Sky Pillar)Rayquaza awaits you at the top of the tower at lv.70!!!

It's actually in "PACIFIDLOG TOWN", but u need to defeat the Elite 4 + Steven before the "sky pillar's" entrance becomes available. Follow here: From the Pokemon Center, Surf to Right > u'll pass by 2 tubers until u hit a rock. Then U'll meet 2 static swimmer and 1 active swimmer, Here... > Go UP! Then, there would be a maze of rocks, go Left following the maze, then go Right... Then U'll see the Entrance to a cave... U're almost there... Go thru the cave then the fun part begins... Make sure U bring along a Mach-Bike... and get ready to get kicked... hehe! He's mean N strong... LvL 70 Rayquaza awaits.....

My son says you can't. It is impossible unless you are on Emerald. He claims to have caught every possible sapphire pokemon but nothing unlocks the sky pillar. I hope that makes sense to you as it means absolutely nothing whatsoever to me! Mind you, at least he and I are doing something together! son taken over. you can find the battle tower north of mauville
