you will get about RM 673.
that will get you a night stay at a 5 star resort hotel such as Langkawi Lagoon or suitcases of souvenir. have a great time sunbathing, although i recomend you to apply on sunscreen. my white american friend and myself got sunburned while in the pool.

Langkawi is very much part of Malaysia. So you can use the Malaysian Ringgit there. Check the rate if you want to change and I would recommend you change when you arrive in Malaysia, before arriving in Langkawi. However, I understand from my friend, they also accept the USD there. So another option for you.

RM1.00 equal to $3.00 i presume..plus it's not malaysian currency but it's malaysia currency..well thing in langkawi is very cheap especially the chocolate, food and the hotel.

probably worth around RM650 in malaysian currency. things there are quite cheap compared to other places in malaysia cause it's a tax-free zone. u can get cheap liquor, chocs and cigarettes there.
