think about it... God created dinosaurs (which are classified as animals) one day before human... However science states that dinosaurs exist a few millions years ago before the first human.. So which is right?

I don't recall any mention of dinosaurs in the bible. A few things that are big monsters or dragons, but no dinosaurs.

Take a closer look at the differences between genesis 1 & 2, you'll see that in genesis 1 humans (male and female he made them) came after animals, but in genesis 2 man (Adam) came before animals, and Eve came afterward.

Science states that dinosaurs existed 259.9 or 259.8 million years before humans 'came into being'. That's a very long day.

The biblical account of creation is an absurd myth that is full of contradictions.

First of all, dinorsaurs were not specifically mentioned in the Bible, but in any case, my opinion is that we really should not use the Bible as a science textbook. The Bible is a spiritual text, and it's teachings need to be taken in context, and not blindly interpreted.

BTW, according to Genesis, God didn't even create the Sun until the fourth "day". So what does a "day" mean during the time of Genesis? Was a day 24 hours? The Bible doesn't specify, but clearly there is a descrepancy.

This argument is impossible. You are trying to compare faith to science, and in that case neither side will give. The problem here is that when you have faith in something no amount of proof to the contrary of what you think will shake you. You don't believe faith because of proof, you just believe.

Also no one should be taking the bible quite this literaly. If they did that would mean we are all inbreed as the bible states we all stem down from the same two people, which means there had to be lots of intermingling between siblings and parents.

In the end people of faith need to lighten up and stop arguing with fact, and people of science need to let people of faith have thier beliefs.

Both. You have to remember, that God is timeless. Humans existed 100,000 before the advent of written language. Needless to say, after 100 millenia of word of mouth passing along of the story, like in a game of telephone, the story gets a little mixed up. The creation story in Genesis is highly inaccurate. The general point of the story is true, but the specifics are not.

If you really need to ask, then you might as well stick with the bible.

Anyone with a reasoning brain will realise that "science" is nothing more than the collective investigation of natural phenomena. It is pretty hard to fool the whole scientific community for a long time, since any incorrect theories can be easily disproved. Conversely, religious groups are a twaddle to fool. They demand no proof or evidence, preferring to take things on "faith".

If you need to ask such a question, then I have to wonder what kind of education schools are giving the nation's children. Is there evidence for a 6-day creation by an invisible deity that nobody has ever seen? No. Is there evidence for Earth being billions of years old and for life evolving over eons? Yes, plenty, and it's all over the Internet and in your local libraries.

As for the Bible being "God's word" and nobody is allowed to question it....people who say that just aren't reading their Bible enough. They believe what their pastors and parents tell them without ever checking up on it themselves...or else they simply ignore the multitude of contradictions, errors, fallacies, and fables that this book contains.

Both. But if pressured to choose, I'd rely on the Bible. Modern science is fairly young, and it offers more questions than answers. I believe that, in time, science will confirm all that is in the Bible.

Believe what you want, science is more correct than the bible. Science has millions of pieces of evidence that 99.9999% of which point in the same direction. The bible has itself.
