Yes, it was illegal. She lied about her age, and when it did surface how old she was it was a huge scandal and brought about big changes in the adult film industry. She made several films though in her short porn career. Now an adult film performer has their proof of age kept on file at whatever film company they are working for. They also have to keep a book with recent STD testings which are done monthly.

Yes it was .. she lied about her age ... she was first a Penthouse Centerfold, actually, before the movies. Quite the little scandal in its time .. especially the magazine because it has a huge circulation and after her age was revealed it technically became illegal to own a copy of it.

It was illegal, that's why all her movies that she was underage in were pulled from the shelf when the FBI found out she wasn't 18.
