I can't believe the answers I am reading... September 11, 2002 (9/11) killed thousands of people and caused billions of dollars of loss and untold suffering and trauma to the United States. It was believed that we could pacify the Islamic movement by leaving them alone, for the most part, which we did. We only reacted to provocations, such as the bombing of the U.S. Cole and our embassies.
9/11 proved that we couldn't leave them alone and DESPITE what you are reading the way of life in the U.S. and the way of life in Islam (or at least preached by the fundi Islamic leaders) are NOT compatible. Either we live or they live. Frankly it is simple. If the Islamic fundis win the war then you girls need to get your Burkahs fitted.
Come on ladies, these Islamic fundis treat women like property afford them virtually no protection under the law and severely restrict their liberties... So if that is what you want, then lets give up now an wait for them to take us over.
In regards to Oil... Yes we want oil... Those other countries want MONEY, so they sell us Oil... That is what freaking commerce is all about!

War is really like an immature fight.... only theres guns and thousands of killers!!!
Like this
Saddam attacks Bush
Bush attacks Saddam
Saddam attacks other countries to show how powerful they are
Bush attacks Saddam
Saddam Nukes places
Bush calls Marshal law
Saddam gives antrax
Bush calls airforce 1 to destroy the missiles of Saddam's Base
Saddam launches missiles before Airforce 1 drops bomb
TOO LATE BYE BYE!
Revenge will just make it worst
Like this
Terrorist kidnaps hostages... they want them to stop hurting their brothers and sisters
Bush feels that if he follows the terrorist so they can release the hostages doing this will make him weaker and foolish in Bush's view... Send some seals to kill the terrorists and frees the hostages doing this will scare the terrorist in Bush's view...
what's better?

Bush needs to feed the military-industrial group. What is the point of all those sophisticated weapons if you cannot use them? War is also good for the economy - it keeps the defence companies fat and happy.

Oil, getting even, greed, money and power
If it was September 11 why did they go for Saddam and not Osama first and where are the so called 'weapons of mass destruction. wouldn't Osama be the bigger threat?
Why can't they find Osama? That must be some pretty great big rock
