yes, i had that once.
it wasn't like in the movies, but it was the most wonderful summer.
i was about 20 and he was about 18 and i was hanging out with some new friends during college break. he was part of that new friend group.
we flirted for what felt like forever, and finally i remember our first kiss. it was the best first kiss i ever had (until my first kiss with my husband---honestly) and we spent the summer falling in love. we spent a day sitting on the side of cliff once just staring out into the open space....i remember him looking at this bird flying above the trees and he said "i wish i could fly". for whatever reason it was the most perfect thing he could say i felt that if we just stepped over the edge we might be able to fly together.
we spent real time together and things were so slow and lazy just like the summer.
he made love to me the night before i left to go back to school and it was the most loved i had ever felt.
unfortunately things didn't last for various reasons, but he has his happiness and i have mine and i will never forget that summer together.
take care and i hope you have that summer romance....they are great memories.

I still remember that one summer and that's that I am married already. Everytime I would go to Houston I would see this one guy and he would always give me butterflies in my stomach. For 2 summers in a row he wouldn't really pay attention to me. Then when I went back again I was 17 and well I got a total makeover and I saw him again at this one party. I still had feelings for him and that night was the most unforgettable night of my life. We danced together he never left my side we kissed and it was WOW! I couldn't believe that this one guy that I was always after, was kissing me. When I moved to Houston to go to college we started dating but I left him for another I had to let him go, only because he was doing something I didn't like (drugs). That is where my romance ended. But I still remember him and my cousin tell me he is still around.

Don't look for it to happen. Just let it happen. Even if it doesn't work out you will always have the memories.
