Definitely Ebay there a lot of Department 56 collectibles up for auction already. Either that or you could list in a local paper?

Department 56 Collectibles, giftware and seasonal decoration are always in demand . You can contact Worldwide, Gift Collector.com or Oakland Drugs with your offers. They may help you. Or advertise in papers or better still .through Internet to get in touch with prospective buyers

I would say ebay or word of mouth. Don't expect to get anywhere close to what you paid. My mom just sold 50 Charles Dicken houses and accessories and got 300.00. Pretty bad!!
