you can't-- as the old saying goes-- you can't please everyone/ no matter what you do, or how you act... there will always be people who appreciate your qualities... and also "haters" either they are jealous, or just miserable people... but! you cannot let other peoples' opinion of you dictate the way you view yourself-- or let others' opinions change you in a negative way, otherwise you will be in a perpetual state of trying to please others.. and you cannot win that battle, without losing others.

if they call you to join them each time they go out, if they do not ignore you when you are with them, if they try to have you participating in their conversation specially when they are talking about something you know nothing about, if they call you on special occasions...
come on! you can easily figure out if they like you or not!!
