Yes conservative care about a lot of things and some of them are good moral issues and some not. The thing is that the conservative running our government only care about money. Don't blame Americans they have been tricked by this government that does not care about the same things they do. Unlike Democrats, we like to keep our hard earned money and decide how we want to spend it. Democrats are also VERY interested in money: by using the power of government to forceably take away and redistribute it to undeserving individuals and to launch failed programs.

By the way, you should ask Barbara Streissand, Bruce Springsteen, Oprah, Hillary and Bill Clinton, the Kerry's, John Edwards (hmmmmm, how did he make his money exactly?), Jonh Corzine, Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, Diane Feinstein, Terry McCaulif and Ted Kennedy if they care about their ill-gotten wealth and if they are actively re-distributing it? I didn't know that about Kennedy. He's always shooting his mouth off about "the rich" getting tax cuts, and how "the rich" should pay more.

Isn't Kennedy rich? So why is he trying to reduce his tax liability?

I'll tell you why: He says such nonsense because he knows his constituants love to hear it. But he has no intention of holding himself to his political spewings. And Mass. voters really don't care he's a hypocrite.

Absolutely. The old conservatives valued money very heavily. But, the new conservatives place much more emphasis on morality. Just look at the national deficit- we wouldn't be in a huge hole if conservatives only cared about money.

Money is the fruit of my labors, a result of my sweat, efforts, training, education, and ambition. It is what I earn for my efforts, and it is what I use to feed, house and clothe my family, it is what I use to pay for medical services, I save it to pay for my own retirement, for the benefit of my family.

You talk as if money is evil. It isn't. Money enables me to support my family, and help others through donations to charities.

What I can't figure out is why so many liberals are so interested in stealing my money from my pocket, beign envious if I make a lot, and then having the gall to call ME greedy, as they lustily grub after the fruits of my labor.

Why do liberals not realize that stealing my money and giving it to somebody else isn't charity, but rather it is slavery?
