i looked through my sister's Alloy magazines from 5 years ago, and i looked at the jeans section with capris and floods. i thought it was a cute look when i was in high school, but now i think it was lame to begin with. just a pair of pants that just shows off your ankle and make people think your pants are too short for your length. what do you think? hot or not?

No!! I would NEVER wear flood pants, but capris are ok.

Anything from 5 years ago you will automatically hate. No matter how cute we think we are, in a few years we will think we looked hideous! Just the way fashion trends work, I guess. I certainly prefer flood pants to the horrors of parachute pants and jeans pinned at the ankles (fashions from the 80's and early 90's in case you are too young!!!).

I never owned a pair of flood pants. I don't care what magazine something is in, if I don't like it I don't wear it. I don't care about what the trends are. I have my own style and always have.

I like them. I grew up in the '80's, so at first if you had flood pants you got made fun of. Then flood pants were all the rage. I like them becasue they are just a good casual look to kick around in.

HORRIBLE - I always hated them. They just look stupid. Like the pants weren't made right - I would have been more than willing to just roll up the cuffs if high waters ever actually came, rather than waste money on pants that weren't long enough to begin with!

They're horrible. Only dorks wear pants that show their ankles. Capri's and clamdiggers are cute though.

I love capris, they are a great alternative to long pants, or shorts. Sometimes you just want to cover up a bit more.

HOT! and they are still in, in alot of different ways like long shorts and guchos. Very cute. Shorts you can get away with wearing at work. Love them

Actually they are back in style, because I was shopping the other day for clothes and there were TONS of them! I never liked wearing them though.

Every year new styles come out, if you watch old pictures , maybe of your grandparents, u'd find out that its not a new style after all lol just a copy of what ones was !
