i.e. The Weakest Link, American Idol, Nanny 911, Hell's Kitchen, etc...It seems as if we allow them to be stern and we cower down to what they say...Why not use American actors

Okay, a lot of these shows CAME from the UK, so it's not like we chose them - it was their show to begin with! American Idol is Simon Cowell's show and started in the UK, so of course he's British. And Gordon Ramsay is a British chef!

And there are plenty of Americans on reality TV... Howie Mandel, Regis Philbin, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, that Joe guy from Fear Factor...

I think who ever is in charge of casting thinks we will tolerate British more because they have an accent and we like to hear them talk. They are wrong. I'm starting to wonder about you guys. And WTH is up with that gecko?
