Yes, they are the ones who started formulating your lanuage and teaching how you carry yourself and teaching responsibility. Therefore, employers look for people who know how to speak properly and dress accorindally for the position. And nobody wants to date or marry someone who cant take care of theirselves or read and write. That would mean you be the only one stuck with helping the kids with their homework or "bringing home the bacon" b/c your partner is not responsible enough to educate theirself or have responsibility to get/hold a job. Then in turn, you don't have to smooch $ off your parents who worked so hard to get you to be successful in life.

While I did not when I was a teenager, now that I am an adult with kids of my own, the answer would be yes. When you are growing up, you try to do the exact opposite of them, but then one day you realize that you are exactly like them, in every way.

Definitely a yes. The way parents raise kids greatly impact them in many areas of their adult lives. Say, for dating, a girl may want to pick a guy that is like her dad. For a guy, he may pick a girl that reminds him of his mom.

Hell yeah, cause you learn from them. Example you can tell if someone who has some home training, when they say thank you or excuse me, from someone who doesn't will say move out the way or just take what you got. So yes I do.

some parents are very good..but if they are a piece of "work", lazy or always in trouble with the law...they may not be the best role models!
