Branson Mo is the safest place I have ever been. It is very family and senior citizen oriented. Andy Williams has a very entertaining show, there is also a show called Back to the 50's (or something similar). Branson is called the Ozarks Vegas. We have top quality shows in family oriented settings. There is so much to do in Branson. Amusement Parks, Shepherd of the Hills, Shows out the wazoo and things like mini golf, The Landing, and Ride the Ducks. The shows are clean, no vulgarity and you and your friends would be welcome in Ozark Style...we are a friendly bunch in this area. You say you are travelling alone. You will be meeting a lot of other folks in your age and interest range. If I can be of further assistance feel free to e-mail me through this medium. Good Luck. Nana

Join a tour group and then you won't be alone.

Not knowing where you're from, I can say England, Scotland and Wales are safe. Western Europe and Cancun too. I did Peru, Egypt and Thailand as well. United States is quite senior accessible where hospitals and pharmacies abound.

My advice is to go with a group. Our bank has trips all the time and it is just more fun to vacation with others. By the end of your first trip you will be planning on your next one. And think of all the friends you will make. Some of the trips have been to Scotland,France and Alaska etc.

Why not try Malta (Europe). I've been there last year, It's practically a small archiplago of islands. Very interesting indeed. It has a lot of history.
