5 kg in two weeks is pretty quick!!! Not sure that I would recommend such a drastic change. Nonetheless, I, too, have gone through periods when I was too skinny and wanted/needed to healthily put on a few pounds.
Eating nuts and nut butters is a good way to get good fats and protein, as well as more calories. Protein shakes and bars are good too because they are fairly high in calories for one small bar, but they have good vitamins and such in them. Also, if you normally eat fat free foods, obviously you can phase those out. Instead of fat free or low fat yogurt or milk, you can eat fuller fat versions. Also, get some whole grain carbs.
Hope this helps

1 pound is gained by eating an extra 3250 calories, a killogram is 2.2 pounds so you need to consume..... *gets calculator*
35750 calories extra on top of your normal 2000 per day. High calorie foods such as chocolate are good for weight gain, along with cheese and pasta. Oh, and some varieties of rice rudding are 500 cals for a tiny pot.

Gaining weight that quickly is VERY bad for you. It puts a strain on your heart and you could have a heart attack. Your best bet I think would be to talk to you doctor about your weight and see about ways to gain gradually. I think adding more protein into you diet might help. And when you exercise don't do too much cardio and do more weight or resistance training. Putting a bit of muscle on will increase your weight and make you bigger.
Hope this helped.

Best answer to this is: Don't bother, just be yourself. Know it does sound like much help but I worried for years about it. I'm now a little older with a wife and a cracking kid (who weighs more than me though he's only 2 years!!!).
Moral of the story is to stay healthy and don't upset any 20 stone nightclub bouncers.

I use to be 110 lbs. when I was in high school since I
got older I can't seem to get to that weight again, but am
happy w/ being a bit heaver.
Enjoy being who you are, real skinny or not !
P.S. Have you had your thyroid checked ? Sometimes this could cause you to be too skinny.

why do you want to gain that much weight that quickly
i think it would be dangerous to gain weight that fast
you see you gp or a dietician to get advice on a healthy way to gain weight
some people are always going to be 'skinny' no matter what they do.

It is very bad for you to do this! You'll end up with problems with heart, skin and 'saggy' fat (as opposed to filling out nicely).
Gain that weight slowly, then you can control it.
