yes , swi as my friend said is Swish files name , for example photoshop files are psd , ut swf is file format for flash files that open with flash players

There is an application out there called Swish. It is used as a flash maker. Once you make a flash movie using Swish, it saves those files in SWI format. When done, and you want to "publish" it, the application then converts it to SWF where it can be played by almost any other player.
