I vowed to do the same with my children. I got too busy with my friends and all the things I was involved in and didn't take the time to study, the end result was that my grades were not as high as they could of been. you learn from your mistakes and then that not only makes you grow but, also gives you the ability to help someone else not make the same mistake that you did. best of luck!

Nope....... I left school at 16 with a handful of o levels and I have done very well for myself - I sometimes regret that I didn't have the social life of being at college or Uni - but I have a great social life in and outside work instead....

Never. I left school at 16 with nothing but a kick up the backside & a teacher telling me I was good for nothing. But if want something bad enough & are prepared to work at it, you can achieve anything. Never let setbacks kill your desire & remember not all successes are measured by money.Health,Family,Friends are all precious commodities. Never look back. Good Luck to you and your kids

Never thought like that. Got out of school and found a job I enjoyed. It was a state job and 25 years later, I retired. Best move I ever made.

yes...i have, and so has my mother.. my mother wants me to do the same thing. she wishes that she could go back in time.. But unless someone out there has a time machine, we cant. We just have to live with what we have here and now.

I ALWAYS SAY IT, I AM NOW TRYING TO MAKE UP FOR IT, GONE BACK TO SCHOOL A COUPLE OF TIMES AND GETTING READY TO GO AGAIN. TRYING TO SHOW THE KIDS A GOOD EXAMPLE AND HAD I DONE IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, I WOULD NOT HAVE TO STRUGGLE WORKING AND SCHOOLING AT THE SAME TIME.

say it often, but not just about school.
Can't fix the past, but you can always work on the future. Good luck to you and your son.
