is there any rhyme or reason to facial hair growth patterns?

what i mean is specific areas of the face. on me, its a little unbalanced, like i have lots on my right mouth area but very little on the corresponding left side.

They are genetic. Native Americans have very little or no facial hair. Where as european and nordic peoples have abundant facial hair. People of Asian decent also have very little facial hair. It all has to do with your racial genetics.
