Speaking from an exprience.... 13 years ago I went to planned parenthood due to pregnancy I was 16. As soon as they told me I knew what my choices were.... Keep the baby or adoption. At the time they didn't even mention either of these all they told me about was abortion. So yes I do think they are. And by the way I chose to keep her and raise her. Hard yes... BUT I got my high shcool diplomia and I went to a trade school. My daughter is now 13 yrs old and doing just fine.

No. I don't think it has anything to do with money cause if my memory serves me correct I had to go to planned parenthood to get on birth control pills when I was young. And it was completely a secret. They didn't even tell my mother which was great for me cause I didn't want to hurt her by telling her I was having sex. So planned parenthood is involved in a lot more than just abortions, they also try their bests to prevent them so that abortions wouldn't be used as a form of birth control.

That seems absurd.

1st, I don't believe they "convince" children to have abortions but provide it as an option and provide the information necessary for the child to make an assisted decision. Let's face it, their decision has to be assisted because they have proven they aren't responsible enough to make decisions on their own thus far...

2nd, are you insinuating that abortion doctors give a "cut" of the fees to planned parenthood organizations? What like a referral fee? Again, that sounds ethically wrong and inconceivable.

3rd, there are too many children as parents as it is and a lot of little babies that don't have a chance in h**l of making it in this world because of their unprepared, immature parents who see them as a mistake, a burden and a responsibility they can't handle and don't want, planned parenthood is doing the best they can with what they have, a world full of idiots who have unprotected sex thinking it's "cool" and that it 'couldn't happen to them.'

No I think they are giving children the option to become a child parent,or have the abortion,it's not Parenthood's choice to choose for you it's the individual that comes in for assistants.

Of course. Planned Parenthood made approximately $90,950,000 from abortions alone in 2002. For more statistics, see:

No.
Abortions are not about money. The problem with the subject is that people don't understand that you have to LIVE with that decision. The choice to have one should never be taken. Any woman that has ever had an abortion has their own burden to bare.

I hope not adoption should be first option. My friends parents made her get a abortion when she was 16 she is now 36 and still has mental issues from having to deal with killing that baby. i only hope not all who have to do that go through it like that.

well, i mean , every place needs to make money. but an abortion is taking a baby's life so that can be a little touchy. its harsh but funeral directors make money off death, money is what fuels a lot of things wher we like it or not and by bringing that up, it doesnt seem fair.

No, they give away alot of contraceptive methods and price things by the patient's income. Thats why they always need funding! And no one can "convince" someone of an abortion - it is ultimately their decision, and theirs alone.
