a round magnet is also called a ring magnet.surprisengly, it does not have any poles!!!
examples could be magnet of a speaker, magnet used in motors, dynamos etc.
you can make a nail into a magnet by passing current through wire which is rolled on it. it will change its polarity if you reverse the direction of current flow. this method is known as electromagnetism and the magnet so produced is called an electromagne. you can control the magnetism power by varying the number of turns of the wire on the nail or by varying the current. if you increase any of them, its magnetism will also increase.
