has anyone ever had a real life fairytale romance or any real life situation that sounds like a plot for a film?

Ya it does...My ex lives in Long Beach, CA. I went to visit him there a couple of months ago. He took me to seal beach and the next day, a motorcycle ride to Laguna Beach. When we got off the bike, we kissed. I still remember "You and Me" by Lifehouse playing in my head and the scent of the ocean tickling our skin. You have to hope for the best and prepare for the worst, but that was the most wonderful experience i have ever had. That was just a part of the trip, the whole thing was like a clip of a movie. I would give anything to feel that way again.

My ex-fiancee and I hasd an epic sort of romance, we met online through a videogaming website of all places and then embarked on an epic 5 year long 4,000 miles spanning relationship in which I did all sort of sickly romantic things that would make most sane men retch. I proposed twice in 2 continents, she said yes both times, and then, 3 months before the wedding she said we'd outgrew each other... so no happy ending there then.
SInce then.. nothing... but I walk up and down the street carrying a brown paper bag with a french loaf and some apples in it in the hope I'll bump into someone.... you never know ;)

the movies are an imitation of life. It should be the other way around. but Sometimes I can parallel my life to some movies, Miss Congeniality is the closest I think... i'm on the drumline but it was like "always friends, never more," which was fine. But i did get together with a really good friend of mine like a month ago (a little more) and we're really happy. I guess that could be a plot...

Met a girl, fell in love "at first sight", arranged to go to a party with her - both went to 2 different parties, each thinking we were in the right place. Didn't see each other for 2 weeks - both thought we'd stood each other up. Saw each other lots over the next 2 weeks, got married on the 3rd (just a couple of friends as witnesses - no parents/family at the wedding) - "reception" in Burger King - now 12 years later still together, with 2 great kids and still very much in love.

Yes, sort of.
I went to a convention with some other people from college. There were a couple of people who were making the trip just miserable. They complained about the accommodations, they complained about getting up early, they were constantly late (even for our presentation), it was just horrid.
Well, these two were in charge of getting our team tickets to a Yankee game. They were supposed to order 18 tickets. They waited too long so no one got to go. But, they personally paid $60 each for seats in the top tier of the stadium for the two of them. (They made sure they got theirs!)
I really wanted to go to the game. So I showed up to buy a ticket from a scalper. I got a box seat for $40 (they're usually $100). I was 10 rows up from the visitors dugout between 3rd and home. The guy who sold me the ticket bought me a beer & hot dog because I was outta cash (that cost $12). So it's like I paid $28 for an awesome seat.
There were other people on the trip who were being wretched. They got cashed in on their bad karma in their own way too. And I kept having great things happen to me that vacation. It made teammates resentful of me.
What goes around really comes around.

This one time I was walking along the balcony of my 4th story flat and tripped over the edge. To my amazement I was saved by spiderman just before I hit the ground. I cannot believe it to this day!

Yes and no, Hollywood usually takes a situation that is fairly common and twists it in to something outrageous.
I do sometime feel that the situation before it twisted happened to me.

The movies never come close to what goes on in reality. Its different and more complicated than the impression of it on tv.
