If you were like most children and had the white glue or used a glue stick (more than 5 yrs old) than you are out of luck. The glue will not come off without damaging the card. If you used super glue, it will eventually break down on paper, however the damage will have already been done and the cards will be discolored where the glue was applied.

Trust me you aren't going to be able to get anywhere close to anything for them, best to just leave them in the book and chalk that one up to experience.

You can try using a hair dryer to heat the glue and with any luck it will run off the card without damaging the colors.

depends what kind of card and what kind of glue. try the freezer idea. when forzen rock hard try bendign the card ever so slightly , might help glue crakc/seperate from card. good luck! Honestly, maybe wouldnt hold my breath on succeeding. let us know how you went by posting agian.

might try putting them in the freezer and letting the glue get hard and it might just fall off..or might be easier to get off...
