He was 29, I was 16. My mom found out and turned him in. It has been 15 yrs. and when I see him in public he looks like he wants to talk to me or he would like to run for his life. I am not sure which. I wrote him a letter apologizing for any grief that I have caused him in his life. I sent it via his brother, he is married now and I do not want to cause problems there. I left no return address or phone number. I am not looking to speak to him, I just needed some closure.

What, did he rape you? If not, who cares? 16 year olds don't look much different than 18 year olds, it's a little wierd but not pedo. In some places (yes, even in this country, I believe) it's legal to have sex at 16. If he didn't rape you and you were a willing participant in laying the guy, it's your mom that caused him grief.

He might still have a love for you, just afraid. He might not think you're crazy or any such thing, and he might even send something back. As long as his wife doesn't find the letter, he should be fine.

By the way, why did your mom bother to have him arrested? I would have just let it lie. It was probably a bunch of stress and trouble for no reason. Ah well. Good luck, girl.

Writing a letter is ok, atleast (I hope!) after that you will get some peace of mind and think that you`ve made yourself clear as to what happened with both of you. But dont waste too much time thinking about this. You should move on and live your life. Join activities and surround yourself with your friends so you will be occupied. Eventually all of this will be a distant memory.

You wrote the letter and that is that. The letter was your closure. Fifteen years is a long time and you can't go back. Walk away and let it go.

Forget about him especially since he is married. Is his wife 15?

The letter was a good idea, so just let it be now :)

I would say that he has closed that phase of his life and moved on. He has put it in the past and so should you.

do not worry. Past is past. Now, just move on and don't think about it. Keep Yourself Busy.

NO! He wouldn't think you are crazy.
