There are many causes of lightheadedness including allergies, illnesses such as the flu or cold, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, dehydration, hyperventilation, anxiety, stress, and tobacco, alcohol or illegal drug use. If this happens on a regular basis, please see your doctor for an exam and testing to determine what the exact cause may be.

You might be having a bout of low blood sugar. Check out the symptoms link on www.hufa.org. If you have more symptoms that you listed, you may have a low blood sugar condition.
Eating a snack that stresses protein (poultry and fish are best, unless you are a vegetarian and then soy is very good), low glycemic carbohydrates (look up a glycemic index) and good fat (olive oil for cooking, almonds or peanuts for snacking), may ease your light headedness if it is blood sugar related.

high temperatures around you can cause, dehydration, inner ear infections, low blood pressure, lack of oxygen in the body, irregular heart beat, low pulse, high pulse, fever, infection, certain drugs (both prescription and illegal), high or low blood sugar could cause it too...
high humidity in the air, rapid breathing, straining (to lift something heavy), low blood count (anemia).
If it continues, go to a doctor.

How is your blood pressure. Also what about your carb/protein intake.
These are the things that are most likely to cause lightheadedness.

Sometimes it can be the effects of a sinus infection, there are several contributing factors....what have you been doing? What , if any, prescripts or over the counter meds have you been taking?

I agree it could be your BP or blood sugar. It is very easy and simple to have both of these tested.
