Would you wear five inch heels for work? I'm looking at a really nice pair on line. Just wondered your opinions?

It really depends on what type of job you have. If you work in a funky, creative field, then yes, wear 'em to work. But if there's ANY HINT of conservativeness or you work dealing with the public (clients/customers) it's probably not a good idea. Too a high a heel can give a non-favorable impression.
Not to mention - are you on your feet all day schlepping errands?

I used to wear 5 inch heels to school, b/c I'm quite shot. For work, I would wear 3-4 inch heels with a skirt. But if you want to wear 5 inch heels, I would suggest wearing pants to cover up some of the heel.
If you buy Jimmy Choos or Manolos, then it shouldn't be painful.

no, i would definitely not ever wear 5'' heels.
if you're unsure, take out a ruler, measure off 5 inches, and hold against the ground. try to lift your heels to the 5'' mark and see how comfortable it is for you.
as you will notice, the problem with 5'' heels is that after not too long, they are painful to the arch of your foot. wearing shoes like this can cause problems with your feet as you get older.
i wouldn't go above 2.5'' at work, 3.5'' to go out.

I LOVE it! They are the best. The only heels that I have are 4 or 5" heels. They are sexy with a skirt, capris and with pants. They go with just about everything. Just make sure that you wear nylons with them and you won't believe the looks you get. More guys stare at nylon-clad legs than at bare legs. Try stockings with a garter or just regular stay ups. Mix it up a little. It is also alright if your garter shows when bending over or sitting down. That is the hottest!!! Love ya!!!

Depends on your job and your position. Look at the people you work with and your clients. Your accessories should fit the look that suits your office and gives the "right" impression.
Also, if you are on your feet all day... not a good thing.
Gotta love those heels, though. :-)

Not on a bet. Your feet are important. You don't have replacement parts for them. 5 inch heels will cause all sorts of problems from bunions to hammer toes, calluses and sore feet! You'll look like a fool...unless you're a hooker.

well it really depends on what your job is, like if youre sitting down all day, but i dont think i would wear 5 inch heels for anything! talk about painful!

Not where I was working. If you work in an office, I see no problem. It's your feet that are going to hurt after an 8 hour or more day.

depends what kind of job you do i suppose, cant say id be much use wearing them at work, if you are a pole dancer then 5 inch heals would be perfect !
