I've been watching LOST on channel 4 - does anyone know of any things to look out for - like how the characters know each other?

All of the characters (minus the Others) were in a plane crash together. During each show, they do flashbacks. In some of them, you'll see that a character cross the path of another character before the flight. Coincidence or not? If you're new to the series, I highly recommend renting the DVDs of the earlier seasons. There are so many little things that take place, then are referenced later. You forget about it, then all of the sudden, it plays an important part in the plotline.

Remember these:
4 8 15 16 23 42.
They're "numbers" which appear all over the place. The flight was 815 and left from gate 23. Hurley won the lottery with those numbers. £23,000 dollar reward on Kate's head etc etc etc. We don;t know their true significance yet, but thy're fun to look out for.

They've all seen each other in the airport etc and some have met each other outwith that ie desmond met jack in the stadium. Apparently the series is going to run for a total of 5 years (I've heard that's how many plotlines the writers have thought up)

They know each other as they were on the same plane crash. Also they all know each other from before the crash and it has something to do with the numbers , they seem to connect them all in some way but that's all i know.

Errr they all know each other cos they are stuck on an island.
Other than that.... dont bother. It will just piss you off/take over your life. I have just managed to wean myself off it... Thank god for the world cup!
