Argentina world champion? I doubt it. They got lucky against Mexico. If Borgetti hadn't scored that auto goal, then Mexico would have advanced and not Argentina.
I think its going to be Germany vs. Brazil in the final, with Brazil winning.

Yes, Argentina stand a better chance of lifting the world cup trophy for the 3rd time ~ as they did back in 1978 and in 1986.
However, lets see them get pass GERMANY and ITALY, who both want to make this their 4th time.
If Argentina do make it to the final (IF), then they will play either Portugal or Brazil.
In all honesty though, I don't see Argentina beating the Germans on Friday the 30th ~ I just don't see it happening.

i've been having this argument with my best friend for a while now. he says argentina i say germany. in all honesty though argentina i believe are better then germany as a whole and will most probably going to the final. if only argentina-germany was the final instead of a quarter final i would be able to support my two favourite teams. now i'll go for germany. hopefully brazil will lose from ghana and ghana makes it to the final

I totally think Argentina will be world champions. I mean how can they lose with players of such outstanding calibre like Riquelme, Messi, Crespo etc etc. Moreover they combine well as a team and they have a good coach in Jose Pekerman.
