it seems once you have the gnats you cant get rid of them.

I had this happen once, and it was a major pain! You need to find the source or them...they might be on the fruit (get rid of it!) but they might also have laid eggs somewhere. Clean out everything very well. You can make a fruit fly "trap" by putting apple cider vinegar in a jar with a narrow neck--they can figure out to fly in, but can't fly out.

You're gonna have to refrigerate all fruit during the hot season. Go buy some of those sticky fly ribbons and hang them in your kitchen overnite. They're cheap and very effective.

Clean the fruit and refrigerate,,set out a small dish of fruit juice for them to find and drown in..:-)=

FIRST CLEAN THE FRUIT AND THEY HAVE THESE CITRONELLA GNATS CATCHERS THAY U CAN HANG IN THE HOUSE FOR A COUPLR OF DAYS
