i have a medium-heavy period normally but over the last couple of months they have been much much lighter, im not pregnant and im not on birth control...what else could cause this?

Hormones...we are regulated and dictated by our hormones..I would celebrate..but..always see your doctor and get a good exam and discuss your concerns..I would be more concerned if I were having pain unresolved with OTC meds and worsening pain with my periods..

A number of things could cause a lighter period: prolonged stress, a hormonal imbalance, a poor diet, excessive exercise, or a radical change in diet or exercise regimes.
