I know life is hard but having fun and laughing makes me feel so much better. There are too many grumpy, serious people who need to lighten up. Whats going to happen is going to happen so why worry about it?

My sentiments exactly. I am in my sixties and I have laughed all my life. I find humor in a lot of things. I have had a ruff life but if I wasn't able to laugh at anything I would probably be dead by now because I would be worrying about what made my live so ruff. I learned to move on and leave the past in the past and be as happy as I can.

Yes absolutely! Being too grumpy, too serious is in fact not good for your health! Laughing, having fun releases a hormone that gives your whole body a feel good factor. It is a well known fact that cheerful/happy people are more immune to certain illness than others, just as they recover quicker too!

Too many people have lost the sense of smiling/laughing and it's a pity because they/ve also forgotten to laugh at themselves too! So you could say sense of humour down the drain ... Sad for them and worse for us because we have to put up with long faces ... But then, my remedy for it? I just laugh and tell grumps about they'd be bettr off laughing with me than me laughin g at them !!! They usually lighten up.

I do! Laughing has been a proven stress reliever. It also kinda helps giggle away the jiggle, if ya know what I mean. Happy people have less wrinkles ( all attributed to frowning) and live longer healthier lives. I try to catch a live comedy show at least twice a year, it's a good way to get out for drinks and some laughs.

Some people can't take a joke, they have to overanalyse or make it an issue, when in reality it's just plain fun. I think laughing releases a lot of held up stress, and makes you feel good, not only that, but if you are laughing that means someone did something stupid and that's always funny.

Agree totally... Life is already so hard.. why make it harder for yourself by being unhappy? Laughing & feeling happier will make life so much easier.. you will feel younger & healthier.. cos when you laugh.. your heart takes in more oxygen.. aka laughter is the best medicine.. in addition.. happy people tends to draw happy people to them...

yes, I think I should laugh more too- I think we should have laughter quotas, like the five a day rule.
So. lets have a poster campaign- how many times did you laugh today?
If I'm having a bad time- I know I'll find something that makes me laugh on yahoo answers!
Lets get rid of dreary people!!!!

Laughter is often the best medicine.

Remember no matter how bad things seem there will always be someone worse off than you today.

Smile and the whole word smiles with you ?
