How much to finish a small basement cheaply?

Need more info. What kind of finishing? type of materials, DIY , or a pro ? Wallboard, sheet rock, paneling, new or used etc.

Depends on if you do it or someone else...we finished our basement ourselves and only cost $8000, looks great too. Our basement is approx 40x20 for the larger space and we have a bedroom down there that is 16x20 and we added a full bath...so I don't think that is too bad.

it depends on what you want to do and how big it is, and also what kind of shape it is in now
