well people ask me my pictures too and i ask them thiers too...but only after i have been chatting with them for long enough to be able to win thier trust or they win mine..
i ask thier pics so that i can put a face to the name.
But u should give ur pic only when u really trust them...
Dont know about others but i ask pics because like i said...to put face to the name

becase they want to know what you look like in real life.But don't do it it's knida bad just don't let them know who you are or see your pics people ask me that all the time I have pics of myself but i do not share them on computer only to my home friends or family becase they would not care but people you don't know don't do it .trust me.do never ever let strangers see what you look like on line.just say no you have no pics thats what i do all the time.
