what it really means by you live to work?

Work is essential to remail mentally & physically fit & fine for those who have sound in financial part but those who are still fighting for their basic needs work is very imp for them to earn their livelihood.

I can come up with a few reasons...
A. Because we need money to buy the essentials of life: food, clothing, and shelter
B. Working gives us a place in society and society thrives on each of us doing a job
C. If nobody worked we would never have gotten to the point where we were at today
D. Because sitting around all day in a cave would get boring really quick
E. It gives people a sense of belonging in the society in which they live, be it ditch digger, hunter, basket weaver, firefighter, stock broker, whatever...

Work is essential for most people in order to support themselves and their dependents without begging. (If someone is not able to work then a decent society should provide them with the essentials without making them beg for them.)
When people own the means or have the income to support themselves without working, then work is not essential -- it is optional.
Bertrand Russell wrote "I think that there is far too much work done in the world, that immense harm is caused by the belief that work is virtuous, and that what needs to be preached in modern industrial countries is quite different from what always has been preached."

Lets do it the mathematical way
24hrs a day
8hrs of sleep
8hrs of work
8hrs of play
Where Sleep is needed to Work & Play
and Work is need to fund the Play
Unless you can think of a equation...else thats life :)

you don't neccessarily have to work a job or carreer but you have to do something to feed house and clothe yourself. Even if its just build a shack in the woods and raid the nearest dumpster or go fishin.
