had too much to drink and had sex with my ex. bf we did not use a condom i sure and i dont remeber how many times we had sex. we are both dating other people my realationship w/ my bf right now is bad and i still love my ex but this was unplanned he was my first everything. i met his gf yesterday and she is so nice i feel awful this happened two weeks ago and my period is now 3 weeks late i was pregnant once before by my ex.(miscarried) though. i dont have any sighns other than sore boobs and feeling little tired could i be pregnant?i have yet to even have sex with my current bf and i feel horrible. i took 3 pregnancy tests only one came back positive should i tell my ex. bf. this could get way awkard were both only 18 and going to same colleges and going to be in three classes together.i went last night to get blood test done at my friends lab job quest diag. and it also came back positive . i have a doctors appointment today what are the odds a blood test is wrong?

feel misrable and guilty and i cathlic so cant have abortion. my friend who pushed blood work thru says she has never seen wrong blood test. my bf going to dump me dont now way ou of this mess it as all a very big accident!!1

The blood tests aren't wrong unless they accidentally confused your blood with someone else's (which isn't likely). You are pregnant. I'm glad you are going to the doctor. Why don't you invite you ex to go with you? It'd give him a chance to get used to the idea of being a dad. Things will be hard to explain but it's something you have to do.

I am a little mixed up on the dates. You say the sex with your ex was two weeks ago and your period is three weeks late. That means you were late when you had sex with your ex. Anyway, I have never heard of a blood test that came back wrong. The doctors use those to measure the level of pregnancy hormone in your body. It is accurate. I think you need to come clean to everyone - your parents, your ex, your boyfriend. Yes, this is a uncomfortable situation, but you need to be honest. If you don't feel ready for a baby, then you can consider finding a family to adopt the baby. If you feel this is your baby, then you will need your family and the fathers support so being honest is the only way. Good luck with your situation!

A positive blood test does mean you are pregnant yes. Usually with negative tests (either urine or blood) if you are pregnant and they come back negative its only because you tested too early. It can happen with both blood and urine tests.
However I am confused about something. You said this "affair" happened two weeks ago...but your cycle is three weeks late. So you were late before you even had sex with your ex? Is there a possibility that it is not his child?
Since you have had a positive test I am going to say yes you are pregnant. I know you will do what is best. Good luck and remember it will work out how it is supposed to. Keep faith-everything happens for a reason.

blood test are accurate. there is always room for human error , but sweety they are correct. urine preg test are the ones that are not always accurate because sometimes there is not enough hormone in the urine to detect pregnancy untill a couple weeks after missed cycle.
you have yourself in some pickle here ! you are human and we do make mistakes . i would wait until maybe about 3 months along , get passed the point of fearing a miscarriage . then tell the truth to all who are involved in the situation .
i would tell your boyfriend as soon as you do find out you are preg. that way he dont feel like you were going to continue a lie to him . you never know he may become a great support for you during your pregnancy , and some guys are forgiving when mistakes are made.
you need to ask yourself if this is a man you would like in your life for a long time . if so tell him that . if you still had feelings and was unsure of things after the break up with your ex , tell your bf that too.
you can never go wrong with telling the truth , you may not like the actions others do as a result of you comming clean on something you did , but the truth is always the best thing to do .
good luck and dont be too hard on yourself . as i said before humans make mistakes . we are all human and capable of flaws .

Yes, blood tests are very accurate and so are at home tests if you use them correctly. If you use a EPT or First Response Early and they come back with 2 lines within ten minutes then you are pregnant. The only thing I am confused by is your period is 3 weeks late but you had sex 2 weeks ago. That means you had sex after your period was late (typically you can only get pg towards the middle of your cycle if you are regular).

I'm sorry for your predicament but if you have a positive pregnancy test the yes you are pregnant the tests detect a hormone only released in your system when pregnant.Try to look further down the line I know everything seems confusing now but trust me everything will turn out how it is suppose to.Please don't have an abortion.I just had a baby 7 months ago and she was not planned but she is the greatest thing in my world!No matter whether the test was blood or urine if it comes back pos. you are.Just sit down the father and discuss your options and see how he feels. But you asked this same question a month ago???What's that about?

Just to reply to your comment on being cathlic: All western European states with 99% cathlic inhabitants allow abortion - so do Italy or also Spain.
Obviously you don't even have a fix partner and probably you are in the middle of your education. Think twice before having a baby - now is the time to take a decision. It doesn't help if your life is destroyed as well - and the baby can't grow up with the full love and attention it needs.

Blood tests are very accurate and you should tell the ex. I know it is going to be hard, but after all he is going to be a father if you decide to keep the baby. I am sure that it will be awkward, but it will also let you know how he still feels. But if he is going to cheat on the new gf, what makes you think he wouldn't do it to her or should I say you again.

Pregnancy tests can come up as a false negative, but it is impossible for them to be a false positive. Sounds to me like you are pregnant.

Blood tests are very accurate. but they can be fooled. go get a home kit then retest on the blood. that should let you know 100%
