People are afraid of the unknown and uncomfortable with having to accept radical changes without deep understanding. When it comes to life and death, you can find understanding through a personal relationship with God...the bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. Whether or not you CHOOSE (it's your choice! not trying to force anything here) to believe that, it is true. Although it is not spiritually widely biblically accepted, there is a book that COMPLETELY CALMED MY FEAR OF DEATH. It is called "Embraced by the Light" by Betty J. Eadie. Any library and many bookstores may have it. Let me know if you want to read it, I'd be glad to give you my copy (I bought many for friends in the past). Peace darling.
