it said some couplea said it can strengthen their marriage.
well i think thats bull. the only thing it does is make it so you dont trust the other person ever again and it would slowly destroy your marriage.

there is no way in hell i could stay with my spouse if he cheated on me, i dont care if we had problems or not. people just use that as an excuse to be a nasty cheater. it would just make me sick to go anywhere near my spouse if that ever happen.

i don't see how it can strengthen the marriage...a marriage that is not built on trust sucks...cheating may be good for you...but definitely not the other person...i say don't do it to find out

Depends on what they meant. Alot of people would define swinging as cheating, when in fact if it is done with full knowledge of everyone involved, swinging is not cheating, and I am sure there are cases where swinging has been good for a marriage. I could also guess that there have been cases where a marriage was on the rocks, a partner cheats, this gets the couple to fix what is wrong and their marriage benefits. Not everything is so black and white.

Depends upon the couple. If both agree that infidelity has strengthened their relationship then it must be assumed that it has. Obviously with your attitude you find that hard to beleive and I am on your side. However, there is evidence that a couple can use this crisis period in their lives to reevaluate what they want in their marriage, identify the problems and deal with them. I should imagine that it is very hard but it happens and i admire them.

Sounds like there are unresolved issues that needs to be dealt with and serious commitment problems. What's the point in being married if cheating is the name of the game.

you are right!you can't trust each other.when you truly love someone you only want to be with them and them alone. If people want to add a 3rd,4th ect...sexual relationship to their marriage they are really not in love. When a man and women come together in marriage they become one flesh one spirit and one soul.God takes that very seriously.
