I know about most of the discount websites, but would love to hear of any new good ones. Also, is there any site that gives discount codes for rentals, or is there anything I can say to get a better deal?

I find Hotwire.com gives the best rates. They will give you a corporate rate try them.

Someone else uses Travelocity to compare prices, and that's a great place to start!
Once you have an idea of which car rental company has the best rates for your trip, check out an online coupon site to see if that company has a coupon code. Then, you can book direct and save even more!

when u rent for the weekend... and u search all available rental's online to get the best qoute. Every rental is different. And also...if u drive in only the selected unlimited mile zones or bordering states. And the economy vehicle is always cheaper.

Yes there is something you can do - seriously - ask for a better deal - try the end of the business day - not early. I say this because they would rather make the sale, than not make the sale at all - they are more ready to negotiate at the end of the day instead of at the beginning, because there is more time at the beginning of the day to make the full profit. It's quite cheap to rent a car in Morocco, and a bit expensive in Ireland, and Portugal. you can find good deals in India and Indonesia.
