we are using a medical software, and its always crashing. i was thinking that it will be better to administer network security where i can control each workstation from the server; i don't know if this is possible and if it is, i will be happy if someone could show me a way out.

if your software is crashing u can not say it is for security of your network
u must check the source of the program or backing up the data and re install it
for improving your network security u can install microsoft ISA server 20004
or sending a work visa for me from your company and improving your network together ;)
