im getting a tattoo done on my lower back, i want something colourful, do you know any good sites with good design ideas, has anyone else had a totoo on the lower back, and does it hurt?

i have two tattoos on my lower back either side of my spine, i think the spine will hurt more though because of the bone. It was painful at first but after a while i got use to the pain and its nothing worse than what childbirth must be! You should go to a local tattooist and have a look at their designs and some may even design one for you, make sure they are recommended by friends or family so that you know they are good and remember tattoos are there for life. They can be addictive though i went to get one done and that was all now i have 3! good luck.

Tattoos hurt like crap but after a while the pain will go away. For a design a butterfly or a rose or type of flower really looks good. A lot of my friends and cousins have them and the lower back or ankle is a popular place 4 a tattoo. I might get one 2. I luv 2 where hipsters and low risers and a tattoo would look good there. good luck

Talk to your artist and ask him for suggestions. Especially when you are talking about something as personal as a tattoo, unless there is something significant about the design, you most likely want something one of a kind as opposed to stock art.
Tattoos always hurt. The more muscle you have in the area getting inked, the more padding you have and the less pain involved. Most people do not have much padding in that area so it can hurt a bit more than some other areas.

A celtic design or a work that means something to you....I heard that it does hurt when the needle goes over the bone

think twice before doing that-
but yea, tattoos realy hurt !
Go to the place they do it, they have got a lot of examples there

i have hared that it does put then again i would not know but if you look in travel art some thing should pop up. Iam get the same thing but all travel art on my lower part of my back.............
