Don't worry about the number of people coming to your party. Only invite those who you like and who you have a friendship with already. If it is only a very small number then a nice dinner with them would be suitable for your birthday. As you get to know more people over time you will be able to invite other people in the future without the worry of if they will turn up on the night or not. Personally, I have many aquaintences but only few friends and it is those friends that I invite to my home to celebrate special events with me. I can't be bothered with people who only come over to drinks your beer, eat your food and go home. Anyway happy birthday for Friday and I wish you a good time no matter how many turn up. :-)

Some times it isn't the quantity of people with you, it is the quality that counts. Who is giving you the party? Are they not good enough company? If you are new to town, why don't you and a friend go out and party ata bar or something instead of HAVING a party. Then , you will have an opportunity to meet new friends!

I would come, since you are the only one who truly answered my question....but I don't know where you are! Plus, if you are a guy, my husband would get jealous!!

Tell every one you invite that they can bring three friends. This way you can meet more people.
