I love the answer OZ gave, that's good. I don't believe there is any animal the doesn't make a sound unless they are born mute by accident or birth defect. Just like some people. Whales make sounds that humans can't hear but other whales do and only whales. Same with dolphins. Fish do make sounds that humans cannot hear and yes I believe that even worms make sounds known only to each other. Could be wrong, it's happened once or twice. LOL

To the human ear or what? Beagles dont bark, we cant hear ants, cockroaches or many bugs. Doesnt mean they dont make a sound. This is a really hard question to answer. Sometimes I wish humans lacked this ability, if you know what I mean.

I can think of a couple. Jellyfish and snails come to mind. There's probably more.
