Pedro Martinez. You need to have great pitching to win games. If you have at least one dominant pitcher, it brings the whole team together, and creates cynergy that develops into a winning squad. There are other pitchers that you could pick, but Pedro scares batters.

Jeter,he's a well rounded player, good hitting and fielding. He has a great demeanor and attitude. He's just the postboy for good sportsmanship and hard playing. He's a gamer and a good clubhouse guy.

Tom Glavine he already has 11 wins and will only get more as the season goes on but if you dont like glavine go for roy holliday another solid ptcher this season. one of them will probably win the cy young award.

Big papi (David Ortiz)...the clutchest hitter in baseball. hes on his game when the sox need it the most.

two words..TRAVIS HAFNER. he is so unrecognized and has an average ovr 300 ovr 60 rbi's and 21 homers. PLUS he's only 29.
