Well it depends on the specific problem.

Nine times out of Ten, audio "problems" are usually not problems at all, it's just that the sound has been muted or the speakers are turned off or disconnected.

please add some details to your question. well the audio properties can be changed by going to start- programs- accessories- entertainment- volume control. another properies by going to control panel- sounds and audio devices or sound, speech and audio devices in category view. i could be more right if you add details.
