Talk to your college advisor or the head of the biology department

You should get a Bachelors in Science, Bio or Chem, what used to be called pre-med. Then you apply and hopefully get accepted and attend medical school. All physicians first get an MD, whatever they end up specializing in. You'll know how to take it from there, no doubt. You're looking at 10 to 14 years of schooling.

Why do you want to be one? Talk to a mentor, someone already in the field. If you want more info look into colleges that offer bio as a major and decide on a medical school Good luck.

Pre med at a really good university. Stay away from the beer bongs but have a social life too so as not to burn your self out. Keep your grades at the top of your class so you will assure yourself financial aid as med school is very costly and you won't want to have to work a lot while trying to keep those grades up. Remember, you need some kind of social life so you don't burn out. Your still young and deserve to enjoy your youth. Good luck to you!
