Hard to say... how much older are you? We would all like to believe that love knows no bounds, but that's not really true. I think true love can happen when one partner is say 15 to 20 (tops) years older, but anything more than that and we're getting to the point where at one point or another, one partner is just going to lose interest because love making is a big factor of a relationship. More than 20 years apart and love making will suffer.
If you're 15 years apart let's say, when he's 20, she's 35 (supposedly prime of her sexual life) which is still acceptable in time span and time frame. When he's 30 (more mature and smarter about life) then she's 45 and a much more mature woman, confident woman. When he's 40, well matured, she's 55 and still pretty much a woman. They say now, 55 is the new 40, so you're about equal now. Then when he's 60, you're 75, and at that age, 60 and 75 don't make much difference, you're both wrinkled and much in love...
It could work definitely... no doubt about it, but if you're 25 years apart let's say... then I'd worry a little about the difference...

I do not think that age is important at all. I have had relationships with older 10+ and younger 10-. Age is not the factor in love for me, but some people think so. If an older women is interested in you and you to her, go for it. The only problem with age is children.

I've got a friend my age happily married to a lady about 8 years older. The only time such a thing should be considered important is if there are legal issues or in a teacher/student/etc. emotionally dependent relationship.

It's relative! Is a 16 year old boy with a 40 year old woman okay?
I don't think so, age gaps matter less the older you become. And any extreme age gap is just as difficult but not an impossible situation.

depends on how much of an age dif.
At one point I dated a lady that was 10 yrs. older than me. It was fun at first and I had no problem with what other people thought or said but after awhile the age gap did matter and we broke up. We had a great time while we were together. So enjoy the ride while you can.

Age makes no difference, none at all.
It's like race, culture, religion, wealth, sexual preference etc make no difference.
Love is love.
Age is a state of mind, a number that means little more than the time of years since birth. It has nothing to do with how those years have been spent or the state of mind one has or life lessons one has or hasn't learned.
Love is Love!

Age does maatter to me. If your 25 with no kids.. why get involved with a person who has 4 kids, 3 baby mamas and a vesectomy? The age matters when the past experiences of the person your getting involved with are tooo different from yours. I have a 36 year old friend with 5 kids, she has her tubes tied...why the hell is she marrying a 22 year old virgin this year. IT MAKES NO SENSE TO ME.

i thinks age is just a number. When i was younger i dated someone who was twice my age, and i also dated someone younger than me. my view is why limit your possibilties of being with someone you might like... or better... love!
It was definetly harder with the guy who was twice my age, but we made it worked enough to live together and be happy for quite a while. It is only a problem if you two let it a be a problem!
