will a mortgage be recorded in new york city signed in blue ink?

In the state of Minnesota, our title company prefers blue ink so they can tell the original from a copy and I really doubt that blue ink makes it not recordable in any state. I'm not a lawyer, though. I really, really doubt the ink color makes a difference anywhere.
