Your friend has hurt you, back stabbed you.
And you are hurt and angry, after all she did the wrong thing.
I am sure all the negative feelings are making you unhappy? How long do you want to feel unhappy?
You don't need to accept your friend back but you do need to forgive her, even if you never speak with her again.
Its good for your mind and feelings.
If you have not done so already reads the Lords prayer from the Bible. Among other things is says "forgive us our sins as we forgive others". None of us are perfect and all of us need some forgiveness.

Depends on the degree of backstabbing. There are boundries that one must never cross and if he or she does so then they must go. If they make a mistake on a lower level than forgiveness is the key.

Once, okay, i can forgive, any more and she's not a friend.
Just withdraw from the "friend"ship and get some new friends. That way she won't know the intimate details of your life and you don't give her any ammo to backstab you.

I say you should definitely forgive her. God forgave everybody, Robbers, murderers, ex. He even forgave you! so you can forgive her too right? You friend backstabbes you because she is jealous because she is insecure. I have a friend who back stabs me because she is jealous of me because a faster runner, better at softball, pretty, friends w/ everybody.

their is only so many times a friend can stab you in the back and i am done tash is one. it hurts you the most to go back and keep letting it happen so if it has happend and happend let that friend go it isn't worth it.
