okay here is a sensible answer: They keep the shirts to remind them of the fantastic players they had the opportunity to play against when they were famous, its great for the grandkids!!! Its well known that ronaldhino will be as famous as pele so in years to come imagine being able to say i played against the great ronaldhino and he gave me his shirt afterwards.
