Example; your friend is in a wheelchair and you want other people to move out of the way for her and give up their spot in line for her you also want her to be treated as an equal right? so i say if she wants to be treated like a criple and will admit that she is a lesser being than me in the fact that she cannot walk then ok complain about people not giving up their spot and rushing past, and i will let her go ahead of me, but if she wants to be treated as an equal then i will rush right past her as i do everyone else when i am in a hurry or if they are going to slow.

Am i right? or wrong? in my beliefs?

Put yourself in her shoes and think how you would want other people to treat you,,,,and then treat her the way you would want to be treated!!!!

Let me tweak your thinking just a little. If they want you to give up your spot in line then they are just rude, most of them don't act like that. If they would like you to move so they can get down an aisle, they should say excuse me just as anyone else does. They are not however lesser beings than you, they are simply less capable physically. There is nothing wrong with passing someone in a wheel chair as long as you aren't rude about it. Some of these people do have a chip on their shoulder just as some walking people do, however most are friendly and really don't want to be in the way and would trade you any day of the week. I think you've just run across one of the rude people or one having a bad day as we all do. Don't judge all by one.

You are taking the hard core / Black and white / analytical approch to a persons life.

You are allowing NO margine what so ever.
We as being human are equal in the sense that we are human.

Give the girl in the chair a little courtesy and be a Gentleman not just a man.

As far as the "equal" part, you are not equal to a pro football player, a Doctor, an astronaut, etc. So you would be at the end of every line there ever would be because you are not their equal.

I think that you are very disallusioned. Every person is different, but every person deserves some respect. It's just polite to open doors for others (wheel chair or not) and it's rude to cut in line. WHat's the hurry? If you have a friend in a chair, treat them like your FRIEND and like nothing else. And just be patient, they might not be able to walk on their own, but they are still mobile, just different than you.

All I know is I wouldn't want to be your friend, you seem very shallow.
