A Friend of mine is currently visiting me, but he is being a bit of a git. Should I offer to make him a coffee? any other suggestions would be great. Cheers

Just try to get on with him as best as possible. At least it wont be long till he goes home, then you will get peace.

Y'know, almost every answer I've seen on here tells u to get rid of him or be bad to him. But have you asked him why he's acting this way in your home? If he's your friend he'll respect you and your home. If he's just doing it to be stupid then tell him that he's not acting like a friend and he's being disrespectful to you and your home. However, if there's another reason, perhaps you can be a good friend to him and help him sort it out. Remember, friendship always cuts both ways.

Just make small talk and try to get rid of him. Tell him you have a prior engagement later today and really have to go. Ring a friend and get them to interrupt you urgently. Like with some crisis of theirs and use that to get away. Tell him he is being a little annoying and ask whats gotten into you today? Make him coffee if you want but he will stay longer then.

Set them up. go to a website called 24x.com and you get 10 free texts (think it's for business purposes but your free ones can be used otherwise!) You can send a message to their phone from anyones phone without them or the sender knowing. Wind him/her up sending from boyfriend/girlfriend or something similar.

Did you invite him if you did then you have to suffer him, if you didn't then show him the door and tell him you are busy submitting questions to this site.
